Animal Care programmes span all levels. Begin by focusing on handling, health and welfare and as you progress, you’ll study more technical subjects from nutrition to applied behaviour. Work alongside keepers in a real zoo in our Zoo Studies work experience unit. Whatdoesitinvolve? Wherewillittakeme? Horticulture and Agriculture & Estates gives you access to employment or the choice to study at higher levels with organisations like SRUC. You can progress to study a distance learning HNC in Horticulture at UHI with our support and practical work experience. Our Animal Care courses allow you to progress into work or Higher Education through articulation routes or go on to further studies in Veterinary Nursing.
