Articulation is when a student on an HNC or HND programme can progress into either year two (from HNC) or year three (from HND) of a degree at university. Do you care about the climate emergency? We do! We are committed to tackling the Climate Emergency and launched our Climate Emergency Action Plan in early 2022 net zero mapping out how we are going to work towards achieving NET ZERO by 2045. We have been working really hard over the last 13 years to reduce our carbon footprint by an incredible 66% ! We have achieved this reduction by installing a range of sustainable technologies such as a biomass plant in our Arbroath Campus, solar panels in our Kingsway Campus and air source heat pumps as part of the Kingsway Campus redevelopment. We have also installed rainwater harvesting, undertaken a LED lighting replacement programme in all campuses and became the first college in Scotland to remove all disposable cups from our campuses and promote the use of crockery and reusable cups.

We have installed plastic roads and carparks using recycled plastics, removed the sale of plastic bottled drinks, installed access to free mains water stations and have replaced all take-away containers with compostable products which are composted on site. Over the next 7 years we will look to replace all of our gas fired heating systems with sustainable technologies. Replacing gas systems with sustainable technologies will also assist with one of our key objectives of working towards achieving Net Zero for our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2030. We have also made a commitment since 1st April 2022 to have all of our electricity supplied via only renewable Scottish wind farm sources. The Climate Emergency will be a fundamental element of your course while studying at Dundee and Angus College as we work to embedding sustainability into all areas of the curriculum using UN Sustainable Development Goals as a benchmark and indicator. We can’t do this without everyone doing their bit, so, are you with us? Of course you are. #loveourclimate

subjectareas A change could involve the replacement of a course with a new course, variations to course content or structure, the merger of courses, or the withdrawal of a course. coursedisclaimer The description of the College’s courses in its prospectus and on its website represents the College’s aspirations as to what will be delivered. However, - the College reserves the right to change course provision
for various reasons, the courses actually delivered may be different. For example: Funding for a course (whether from the Government or from the College’s charitable donations or other sources of income) may be reduced or withdrawn; there may be insufficient interest in a course which means that it is uneconomic or unviable to deliver; there may be a change to the College’s other resources, such as staff or accommodation, which affect the delivery, or campus location, of a course (e.g. an HNC programme might be delivered on two campuses but an HND programme might be delivered on one campus only).
The College may make a change to a course for the reasons set out above, or for other reasons where it is reasonable for the College to do so. If there is a change to a course about which you have expressed an interest, the College will let you know as soon as possible. By expressing an interest about a course to the College, you agree to these rules about changes to courses.
